{"id":1684,"date":"2024-09-13T00:02:52","date_gmt":"2024-09-12T21:02:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swissapproval.gr\/?page_id=1684"},"modified":"2024-10-10T23:25:48","modified_gmt":"2024-10-10T20:25:48","slug":"european-machinery-directive-2006-42-ec-machinery-directive","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/swissapproval.gr\/en\/european-machinery-directive-2006-42-ec-machinery-directive\/","title":{"rendered":"European Machinery Directive 2006\/42\/EC &#8211; Machinery Directive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">The Machinery Directive provides for the manufacturer (the one who places the machinery on the market under his own name) the obligations established for a New Approach Directive (conformity assessment and conformity of the machinery, drawing up the declaration of conformity, affixing the CE marking).<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">The Directive also provides that, in cases where there is no manufacturer or authorised representative, the natural or legal person who places machinery on the market or puts it into service is considered to be the manufacturer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">When machinery is placed on the market, it is accompanied by the manufacturer\u2019s declaration of conformity, while partly completed machinery is accompanied by the certificate of incorporation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">SWISS APPROVAL is a Notified Body for machinery in accordance with the following scope:<\/p>\n<table class=\"has-black-color has-white-background-color has-text-color has-background\">\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Products<\/th>\n<th>Procedures<\/th>\n<th>Articles\/Annexes<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">16. Vehicle servicing lifts<br \/>\n17.
